I called 911 on 5/9 to get this car towed from 45 Mount Ida Rd Dorchester MA 02122 but the responding officer said he couldn’t have it towed because the driveway was not blocked enough. I wasn’t able to back my car out without the help of the officer, and I have work at 3am on 5/10. If I didn’t have work at 3 am, I wouldn’t have cared to call at all because I assume in the morning they’d leave. So I guess I just want to understand why this wasn’t towable despite how long it took to get me out with his help, and also want to know how much the driveway needs to be blocked for a car to get towed. The officer didn’t want to leave a ticket because he said it was only an inconvenience to me, but I also thought that parking past the curb into the driveway was ticket able.
