Rat bites: [No] Rats in the house: [No] Rats outside of property: [No] What is the nature of the problem: [significant and ongoing rodent infestation affecting the property. The issue is primarily concentrated in the basement of the building (currently unoccupied space) and the rear parking lot area. Over the past several weeks, rodent activity has increased substantially. The problem does not appear to be resolving despite private mitigation efforts. We have hired a contractor, and he has been pouring cement in the basement to patch the holes. The rats have been eating through the concrete. We have hired exterminators and nothing is working. I also believe there may be a contributing factor related to street excavation work in the area outside the property. Since then, rodent activity in the vicinity appears to have increased. It is possible the issue has been developing for some time, but is only now becoming clearly visible to us (the landlord) due to the space being vacant. I am requesting an inspection and assistance from the City of Boston’s Inspectional Services Department and Vector Control to: Assess rodent activity on the property Identify possible exterior harborage and entry points Provide guidance or enforcement as appropriate for abatement Please let me know the next steps or if an inspection can be scheduled.]

Standing water and garbage has been here over a week. Probs my growing some nasty mosquitoes. Can we clean it up?

Standing water full of trash - breeding grounds for mosquitoes

I believe the mayor’3 office has to give special permission/permit for trees to be cut down in the city of Boston. From 9-11am I attemped to get someone from 311 to come here to STOP the cut down of two 100-200 year old trees behind 15 waldemar.but 311 andmayor office do not publish their phone numbers. so noone from City responded on special permission issue. first two 333. boston messages did not send. About 11-1130 I called 911 to ask police to come ask tree co. to show permit to cut down trees or to stop any unauthorized tree cur down. they took request on 911 phone line and my first name and number but I never received a call back.. So the two very healtthy 100-200 year old trees were gone by 430pm.
