Commendation for the emergency response to the 3-alarm fire at 117 Brainerd Rd. BOSTON FIRE AND BROOKLINE FIRE DEPARTMENTS 🚒, BOSTON EMS 🚑 AND BOSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT 🚓 🚨 On behalf of the Uphams Corner and Dorchester community, we praise God on an extreme level for His miraculous intervention in keeping everyone safe and ensuring zero fatalities. We pray for the recovery and continued faith of all survivors and the injured. We formally acknowledge the heroic actions of all crews aboard. The swift containment of the heavy first-floor blaze by the Boston Fire Department, Boston EMS, and Boston Police represents an exceptional standard of top-tier urban response, safely rescuing six residents and stabilizing a resident on the roof. We extend our profound gratitude to our mutual aid partners in the Brookline Fire Department. Their immediate deployment of an engine company provided critical reinforcement to clear the building safely. This seamless collaboration proves our public safety networks are stronger together.
