General Traffic Engineering Request
Constituent wanted to flag that the mentioned intersection is not necessarily safe for pedestrians. Constituent stated that the cars are not waiting by the white line to allow pedestrians to cross and even when persons are crossing the cars are inching towards them because they don't want to wait. Constituent stated that the pedestrian signal counts down and as soon as it hits zero the light goes green for the cars and they don't even want to wait if someone is almost done crossing the street. Constituent is suggesting that there is a few seconds between the pedestrian signal ending and the light going green. |

General Traffic Engineering Request
Constituent states that this intersection should be evaluated as it poses a safety risk. States that there are frequently people that make illegal right hand turns as well as confusing pavement markings. Also states that the diversion of traffic to one lane causes frequent backups in the area. States that there are sometimes cones placed to direct traffic but they help little. Would like to be contacted back by a member of BTD about this issue |
