The property at 311 Hyde Park Avenue has suffered from a severe rat infestation for a long time. Residents consistently throw food and other debris, including cigarettes, on the ground. This has attracted hordes of rats, with 10 to 15 rodents visible at a single time. The rats are running into neighboring yards, posing a significant safety concern for a young child who lives nearby. Given the sheer volume of rats, it is only a matter of time before someone is bitten. Furthermore, rodents are burrowing under the building's foundation. Although maintenance personnel visit the property occasionally, residents immediately resume littering the premises afterward

Constituent found on thursday that there was a cockroach in the unit, notified landlords. They state they did not find anything in the unit, may have been brought by chronic dampness in the ceiling in the basement. Constituent states that the unit's cockroaches will send an exterminator but they will not be sent out by Monday.
