Four long months ago I submitted a 311 report (#101006299542) for a downed street sign in front of the building I live in. I submitted another request a month ago and have been in contact with my ONS liaison. Four long months later, the street sign is still there and now buried in snow. It’s going to get sick if you don’t take care of properly. Poor traffic sign :( perhaps it could be installed at the corner of Lothian and Strathmore so BTD can stop collecting BS parking violations for being within 20 feet of an intersection. Look at every other intersection around here: it is clearly posted as to where parking is allowed and more often than not, it’s within 20 ft of a more major intersection. Give us resident only parking. Fix the sign in question. Install proper signage that indicates that parking on the corner of Lothian and Strathmore is not allowed.

I live near the corner of Glendale, Kendrick, and Lake Street in Brighton. During road construction over the fall, a stop sign was put up on Lake Street, which led to a lot of confusion as there were no road paintings/signs that it was new--so half of people stopped and half didn't. We saw police patrolling and pulling people over last month for running the stop sign. I came home from home on Wednesday and the stop sign is gone--and there is more chaos/horns as some people still stop and some just keep going. We are curious if it was stolen or removed by the city? If the stop sign goes back up, increased visibility about stop sign would be needed--as we are all waiting for an accident to happen due to the confusion as to whether to stop or not.

NEED REPLACEMENT STOP SIGN ASAP. The STOP sign at the junction of Saratoga and Moore St in East Boston is missing and has been missing for 3+ weeks. There have been 9 request on 311 to replace this missing sign without any activity. Busy intersection with school, church and park where various children play. Cars drive very fast down this street and without the STOP sign, it’s not if but when, fear that an accident or worse will happen. Please address ASAP.

Cornell and Kittredge Street. Stop sign was destroyed by a car. Unsafe situation exists - the sign has not been replaced.
