Please create crosswalk here. This street is in a busy pedestrian area and will soon be the home of the neighborhood library. Children should be able to cross safely to the library.

    CLOSED #101006696681

Case Noted. There is a signalized intersection less than 100 feet away which would make it easier and safer to cross. Adding a crosswalk at this location would make it less safe. Thank you for contacting 311 and BTD.

  • Broken Sidewalk

1155 Tremont St, Boston, Ma, 02120

There is a pothole in the sidewalk along the Southwest Corridor Bike Path between Northeastern and Ruggles St that has been getting worse and worse to the point that is very unsafe for bicyclists who may not notice the size and severity of the hole (please see the attached image). This pothole has been present for some time, and a repair was attempted a year or two ago, but that repair has crumbled and the size of the hole has reached danger levels. Someone is going to get hurt. Because of the placement of the potthole on this particular sidewalk, it is not clear if this is DCR, Northeastern, or the city's responsibility, but I'm hoping by writing to you, we can work towards getting this repaired.
