Illegal Parking

Description: We’re wondering about the availability of parking in Day Square due to construction. There are plenty of “permit parking” options on Princeton st and adjacent side streets. The Shelby St Garage occupies many of the permit parking allotted spaces with junk/totaled cars. We have seen these cars ticketed, but they are consistently occupying spaces that could be utilized by neighborhood residents. For years, this has been an ongoing problem with the auto body shops on Princeton and Shelby st. It has become more problematic lately with the lack of available parking for residents, especially with the ongoing construction/roadwork.
