- There should be a one-way sign and a “Do Not Enter” sign at the Sewall Street facing Tremont Street. Drivers frequently speed down the street in the wrong direction, creating a serious safety hazard for oncoming traffic and the many pedestrians, including college students, who use the street as a shortcut to Tremont Street. I recently witnessed a wrong way driver encounter two cars traveling correctly, nearly causing an accident. Clear signage and a painted crosswalk are urgently needed to improve pedestrian safety and prevent potential collisions
