Description: I am reporting a public safety hazard and code violation at 27-29 Perrin Street, Roxbury, MA 02119. 1. EXPIRED CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY Temporary Certificate of Occupancy No. COO1837518 issued April 17, 2026 expired July 10, 2026. The conditions of the temporary CO have not been met. The property appears to remain occupied. 2. DETERIORATED AND UNSAFE RETAINING WALL The retaining wall at this property is in a severely deteriorated condition. Large sections have collapsed. Unsecured rubble, bricks and debris are piled directly adjacent to neighboring properties at 2 Copeland Park and 25 Perrin Street with no safety barriers or containment of any kind. 3. ELECTRICAL HAZARD The ground instability at this property appears to be causing the electrical poles at the corner of the property to lean. Multiple electrical, cable and telephone lines run through this area. 4. UNSAFE SITE CONDITIONS The site presents an immediate public safety hazard to neighboring properties and the public including unstable ground, unsecured debris and exposed rubble with no protective barriers. Open permits on this property include ALT 11536515, A1806194, A1701831 and SF 1572692. I am requesting an immediate inspection and all appropriate enforcement action.
