- We are requesting assistance regarding an ongoing and recurring nuisance involving the neighboring property and its tenants. This has been a persistent issue for an extended period and has continued despite multiple attempts to resolve it directly with the neighboring property owner, Talal. The neighboring tenants have repeatedly trespassed onto our private roof without permission. They have used our roof as a gathering space, hosting parties and congregating there late into the evening. After these incidents, they routinely leave behind trash, including food containers, bottles, cans, cigarette butts, and other debris on our property. These incidents have occurred on numerous occasions and are not isolated events. We have documented the behavior with photographs and other evidence, and we have repeatedly notified the neighboring landlord of the trespassing and illegal dumping. Despite these notifications, the problem has continued without meaningful action being taken to prevent future occurrences. In addition to the repeated trespassing and littering, the ongoing activity creates safety, security, and liability concerns for our organization. Individuals are accessing portions of our building without authorization, creating the potential for property damage and personal injury. Our staff has also been forced to spend time cleaning debris left behind and addressing the recurring issues. Because the behavior has continued despite repeated notifications to the property owner, we are requesting that the City investigate this ongoing nuisance, contact the neighboring property owner, and take any appropriate enforcement action necessary to require the owner to prevent tenants and guests from accessing our private roof and depositing trash on our property. We are prepared to provide photographs, documentation, and copies of previous communications with the neighboring landlord demonstrating the repeated nature of these incidents.
