- Dead animal/rodent smell has been present in the apartent building i reside in for about 3 weeks now and fails to be contained. The apartment is JVUE at Longwood at 75 st. Alphonsus St. Boston, MA, 02120. The building had longstanding issues with mice that the building had failed to manage or eradicate. Now, the management claims they have hired a new pest control company that has killed mice that were in the building . However, now the lobby smells like dead decomposing animal that is circulated through vent. The management reports they are not able to find the carcus, and are not doing any further attempts to collect the carcus and simply waiting for the smell to disappear. The smell has been persistent for 3 weeks now and has become unbearable and simply unacceptable and unsafe to exist in this environment.
