- The JFK Elementary playground in JP didn’t pass an inspection & has been off limits to our students since October 2025. Our principal has put in requests with BPS Facilities to have the wood chips removed (students found needles buried in them. They thought they were Sharpies) Shaw has also requested the broken play structure be removed to make space for a new one. BPS said to reach out to the City because it isn’t in the BPS budget. JFK students deserve to have a play space that isn’t dangerous!
