- This is my second request. There were two trees opposite my house. I appreciate one being removed today. However the other one is more of an issue than the one removed. Please see the pictures attached. Urban forestry said it’s a healthy tree. You will see from the picture that it has grown into the street. There have been multiple vehicles that have lost their side mirrors because they do not realize the Tree sticks out. I would ask if you would please reconsider removing this tree. I also included a picture showing all the damage from the various vehicles that have hit it. It is a dangerous tree location. Thank you.

Noted. Public shade trees are protected by MGL chapt 87. Upon inspection, the tree is healthy and will not be removed for the reason given. The tree is producing active wound wood around the vehicle strikes. There is no observable shifting of the root plate.
