Illegal Parking

Description: Sunday, August 30, 2026 – 12:26 AM Location: 1252 Washington Street, in front of Alex’s Pizza Vehicles are illegally parked in the designated bus/bike lane directly in front of Alex’s Pizza at 1252 Washington Street. The attached photo shows an MBTA bus being forced out of its designated lane and maneuvering around the illegally parked vehicles. The same photograph also clearly shows available legal curbside parking nearby, yet the vehicles are occupying and obstructing the dedicated transit/bike lane. This obstruction is directly interfering with MBTA operations and creates a safety concern for buses, cyclists, motorists, and other roadway users. Photo documentation is attached showing the MBTA bus maneuvering around the obstruction, the vehicles occupying the lane, and available parking nearby. Please dispatch Parking Enforcement to address this ongoing issue.
