Description: It should have occurred to me sooner to report this, but earlier on Friday (6/19) while on a walk, I noticed that the door to one of the towers on the Longfellow Bridge was open— the one on the side opposite the museum of science, closer to the Cambridge side of the river. Come to think of it now, I saw that door was unlocked and there were two people inside it on a prior day at some point this week— maybe Wednesday 6/17 or Thursday 6/18? My eyes didn’t quite adjust to the darkness at the time enough to see who the people were, but I don’t recall them wearing maintenance clothing. Could you please send someone to inspect the safety of that area? I didn’t take a photo but I can be reached at 860-324-0280 with questions
