Broken Sidewalk

Description: Section of sidewalk is missing entirely. It was taken out as part of the process of replacing a utility pole. It has been missing for more than 3 years-- this repair is very overdue. I have requested this same repair here on Boston 311 multiple times now, over the course of more than a year, and each time the outcome has been the same: the case gets closed, without the repair getting done, and without any indication of when it will be scheduled. Initially there was also back and forth about whether the city or the utility company is responsible, but long ago the city accepted responsibility and said it will do the repair. It just won't say when it will do it, then closes the case. I've been patient and I've been reasonable and I've been polite. It's time to prioritize and do this simple repair! Do not close this case again without doing the repair, and also without giving any indication when you will do it!
