- Description
- I am submitting a second complaint regarding a significant and worsening rodent infestation at 41 Edgerly Road, Boston. There are consistently multiple rats (approximately 5–6 visible at a time) living in the bushes and trees near the building entrance and parking area, and they frequently run across the pedestrian walkway when residents pass. Food such as bread, rice, and other leftovers is repeatedly left on the ground to feed birds, creating a constant food source that is attracting rodents and causing unsanitary conditions and heavy rodent activity. There appear to be rat burrows in the landscaped areas and in the sidewalk, and the population seems to be increasing. This is a public health and sanitation concern for residents entering and exiting the building. I previously reported this issue but have not observed any mitigation, inspection, or rodent control measures being implemented. Given the ongoing feeding of wildlife and the visible infestation, I respectfully request an urgent inspection and rodent control intervention.
