- Speed bumps are at times impossible to be seen with salt and snow. At that point they become a safety risk. They are not vital in this neighborhood. It is one of the tallest hills in Boston, you have no choice but to go slow. Seems more like these were installed at the behest of the mayor to spend left over money in the budget… just like the ones they put in on Allandale Rd near the entrance to the emergency room. They quickly removed those because they made no sense and were a hazard for ambulances going in. Clearly whoever is to blame for these speed bumps does not live in this neighborhood
