- The Boston Parks and Recreation Department strikes again. How many incompetents could possibly exist in one agency? FAILURE TO PLAN! In East Boston Memorial Park, today, Thanksgiving, the day of a planned football game of East Boston vs Chelsea, parking in the East Boston Memorial Park is insane. Insane! Cars are illegally parked all over the place, fire lanes, on the park grass, there are gridlock conditions in the park. Rather than demonstrate leadership, and have a police detail, or some other traffic management, the Parks Department strikes again, with pandemonium. MARK MY WORDS: This failure is a public safety hazard. If an event occurred in the East Boston Stadium, and fire apparatus or ambulances, or the police had to respond, there is no way that some of that equipment would reach the stadium, and if it did, it would be delayed. Imagine if someone’s heart stopped beating in the stadium, what would the Parks Department have to say for themself, other than they contributed to a wrongful death. This is a disgrace, a disgrace for the Parks Commissioner, the Mayor, and that waste of a human being, the East Boston City Councilor. An absolute disgrace. Honestly, I hope something terrible happens, to make the point, and demonstrate the city’s negligence. FAILURE TO PLAN! FAILED LEADERSHIP AT THE PARKS DEPARTMENT!
