- The apartment buildings at 421 and 423 Marlborough Street are placing their trashcans on the premises of 501 Beacon Street (rear side, parking area). This is private property and not designated for their trash storage. The trashcans are blocking safe entry into parking spaces and creating an unsanitary condition. The area has become a mess with rat infestation as a result of this practice. We have repeatedly asked Lighthouse Realty Management, the management company for 421 and 423 Marlborough Street, to remove the trashcans from our property and place them on their own premises, but they refuse to comply. We request that the City inspect this issue, enforce removal of the trashcans from 501 Beacon Street, and require proper placement on their own property to resolve the obstruction and rodent infestation.
