- "The below entry in the City's database of properties and their eligibility to be operated as a short term rental is incorrect. The record identifies the property as 'home share eligible' and 'limited share eligible' and 'owner occupied.' None of this is correct and this inaccuracy has been reported to ISD several times over the course of several years, along with complaints about disruptive behavior of occupants in the building. The record shows no violations. FACT: The building owner does not live in 9 Keswick Street, has never lived in 9 Keswick Street and he does not live next to or anywhere near 9 Keswick Street. The owner lives in Dover and the Town of Dover's current assessor's records confirm it. His mailing address in Dover is 5 Edgewater Drive; 11 Edgewater (indicated in the City's records) is owned by another party, in which case even this detail is incorrect. It is unclear how Bryan Austin has a residential exemption from Boston when he does not live in Boston. If not living in 9 Keswick Street, he is entitled to neither a residential tax exemption nor a permit to operate a STR at that address - or anywhere in this city. The City must have the means to verify a property owner's place of domicile and can and will investigate inconsistencies if they are brought to its attention. Why it has not done so in this case despite numerous complaints and inquiries about it and the owner's operation of an STR without meeting the City's eligibility requirements is troublesome as well as baffling." | : [Is there an apartment number?: []
