- The tunnel connecting Congress to A Street in Fort Point neighborhood is filled with pigeons and the sidewalks are covered in pigeon excrement. Many tourists use the sidewalk to access the steps to Summer Street. The birds still perch there and get trapped and killed, left on display in the wire netting. It is disgusting and a health hazard. They also removed our pretty lights that Mayor Menino had put up. A beautiful mural has been installed in Seaport at the intersection of I-90 and Congress by 400 Summer Street. Their sidewalk is pristine. The solve is to put a thin wire on the remaining rockwall where the birds perch. A mural and/or putting the lights back is in order as well. |
