Case Resolved | Dear Constituent, The Boston Public Works Construction Inspection Unit (CIU) determined that both BWSC and National Grid are working in the Montrose St area. BWSC has in place requirements by their contractors to take pro active measures regarding rodent control both before and during construction. National Grid because their excavations are generally shallower than BWSC and they do not work near water pipes do not have a rodent control requirement for their contractors. However, if rodents are observed related to their construction they will take control measures. The City knows this is an important issue and we want in resolved as best as possible so we have requested that both BWSC and National Grid reach out to you. The BWSC contact is Dolores Randolph. Dolores can be reached at 617-989-7000 and ask for Dolores, or by email at Randolphd@bwsc.org The National Grid contact is Peter Nagle. Peter can be reached at 617-293-1490 or by email at peter.nagle@nationalgrid.com For any questions or concerns, please contact the number listed below Sincerely, Mark Cardarelli Supervisor of Utility Coordination and Compliance Boston Public Works Department 617-635-4951
