- What is the nature of the problem: [Call from Amtrac. Due to erosion of the expansion joint in bridge and damaged iron on the sides of the bridge, water is leaking onto Amtrac lines containing over 25k volts of electricity. Amtrac engineered has deemed this a public safety problem, especially during winter as salt and water mix and salt is conductive to electricity. Also keeps causing power outages on the train themselves. Requesting bridge repairs to remedy issue.]
