These huge trees are marked for removal, but they are alive! Look at the upper branches. They need pruning on the lower branches which were once covered in ivy. This woodland garden is cared for by the Bay Village Neighborhood Association. I’m on the parks committee, and I have removed the invasive ivy and planted many native shade plants in this garden. We need the old pine trees to provide shade. Several of the other trees also need pruning, but please don’t cut those three pines!

Rats complaint for the middle block of Peterborough Street in the Fenway, on the same block where the restaurants are located, there's a significant problem in the evening with rats running around, very close to people sometimes. It may have something to do with the restaurants. Are they sweeping up outside their restaurants in the outdoor seating area in the evenings, or garbage container overflow issues?
