50 Willis St, Dorchester, Ma, 02125

The no parking sign in the attached photo shows a start date of 5/18, but it and a dozen others like it were only placed on that stretch of Willis Street yesterday, 5/22, however city regulations require they must be placed at least 48 hours in advance. More importantly though, it's absurd that the city approved a 1-month no parking restriction--including on weekends--on what is effectively the entirety of Willis Street. I have no off-street parking space, and there are at least 50 cars that park on Willis regularly. Where am I and all my neighbors supposed to park for the next month? Is National Grid actually doing work on every part of Willis every day from 5/18 to 6/16, including weekends? If not, the permit needs to be amended to cover the specific dates and stretches of the street that they plan to do work.
