Sidewalk Repair

Description: Sidewalk at the corner of Eastburn and Mt Vernon streets in brighton has been destroyed by trucks driving over the curb. The asphalt is broken into small pieces and the sidewalk is depressed more than 6” from the top of the curb. It’s impossible to use a snowblower to clear the snow in winter without risking serious damage to the snowblower if it picks up a loose chuck of asphalt. There is a legally blind person living adjacent to this damaged sidewalk and I can only hope he doesn’t trip on the loose chunks of asphalt.
