- I have no idea what to do in this situation with the house Next door to me has been empty for at least a year and it seems to be housing rats. I've seen several in their yard and today there was one in my yard that ran back over to their side of the fence as soon as I came outside. Concerned about the proliferation of rats onto my property ; do I have any recourse?
