("Encampments" isn't exactly the right category, but in regards to open drug use) There is an unhoused man who regularly sits outside of the Dunkin Donuts on the corner of Hyde Park Avenue and Walk Hills Street in Forest Hills (often on the entrance ramp at the Dunkin in the morning). He is lighter skinned black and heavy set, wears a black tee-shirt. He always asks for money or to buy him a coffee, but this morning while with my two young children I passed him opening smoking crack cocaine next to the parking lot on Hyde Park Ave. This part of Forest Hills is full of young families, and while I have mostly ignored the panhandling, I am not comfortable with open drug use outside my house with my kids present.
