Rodent issue at 457 main st Charlestown Mass. This has been an ongoing issue. 3 weeks ago on here someone said they’d be by to rebar it the sewers. There have been more than a few rat sightings since.

I saw a mouse run across the restaurant when i was having lunch at clink restaurant at the Liberty Hotel. It crossed from the kitchen area to the dining area (under the window seat). I informed the waiter. He answered it happens when it rains, its an old building.

Rats from the street have started burrowing into my yard

Rear yard is a mess/is attracting rodents. Full of dog waste and is overgrown

Constituent who is the owner of a unit at 65 Baldwin St, Charlestown, states that, following rodent activity in their area, there has been a flea infestation in their building. Consituent had an exterminator use heat treatment in their unit and the common areas of the building, but another unit in the building is refuisng to have their unit inspected/serviced. Constituent ultimately wants to know if there are any laws/regulations that would require the owners of the other unit in that building to conduct an inspection/have it treated by an exterminator. | Occupants name and contact info: [Same as Caller] Type of insect or rodent: [fleas]

I would like to report concerns regarding a property on my block. For well over a month, I have personally observed rats entering and exiting through the side door of the building on multiple occasions. I also observed that the exterior front porch door has been removed, leaving the porch opening exposed. In addition, the interior door leading from the porch into the building has been left open. A neighbor informed me that rats have been seen inside the hallway areas of the building. While I have not personally witnessed this, I felt it was worth mentioning. Since this spring, I have also noticed a significant increase in rat activity in my own backyard. I cannot say whether it is related to the conditions at this property, but I am concerned there may be a connection. My concern is for both the residents of the building and the surrounding neighborhood. Regardless of whether the housing is subsidized, all residents deserve to live in a clean, safe, and well-maintained home. I have attached photographs showing the side door and the condition of the front porch entrance.

Constituent reached out to our office about the dumpsters in the rear of 99 & 113 Shandon Rd and noted that there are rodents, fowl odors and decrepit trash receptacles. Requesting an inspector, ticketing and for this ongoing issue to be addressed.

Just went to into this salon to get a facial and couldn’t stay bc the smell of dead rodents was so bad.
