What is the nature of the problem: [Constituent states that property looks abandoned and the steps look very damaged]

What is the nature of the problem: [The constituent called about a house that's been abandoned for "20 years". He states it's a fire hazard, the left side of the building has collapsed, there are broken windows, as well as a large amount of rodents and other wild animals entering and exiting the building through the many holes in the property. He's requesting the abandoned building be torn down.]

What is the nature of the problem: [Constituent reported that the house at the mentioned location has been abandoned for 20 years. Constituent is concerned that this a fire hazard for the entire block. The constituent stated that the back wall fell off and the sides of the property are overgrown. Const stated that only the front yard is being cut every now and then by other residents.]

Uncertain of exact street #: it is the rear of 47-51 Lexington St. I can see it from my backyard at 34 Princeton St. The residential building is vacant and the rear door is wide open. Weather, rodents, and unauthorized people can enter and further deteriorate the empty residential building.I request the city contact owner to secure the open rear door. Or the city should secure it. I reported to 9-1-1 maybe a week ago and the door is still unsecure. Thank you. |

States service location needs to be torn down, it is not fair to have to pay taxes and have to look at property given the condition: there has not been any lawnmowing taking place, the rear of the building has partially fell off, there is a major rodent problem, it is a major fire hazard and it has been abandoned for about 15 years.]
