I am a resident of 212 Stuart and would like to report possible illegal short-term rental activity. There appear to be 10+ units in the building listed on Airbnb and available for nightly stays. Please review whether these units are properly registered and legally permitted to operate as short-term rentals in Boston, including whether any claimed exemption applies. Const. states owner of this address is renting it out as a short term rental unit on booking.com but it is permitted as a long term rental address. Constituent reports house across the street (48 quincy st) is running an airbnb out of the house without ever informing the surrounding residents or the association, was shifty about doing it and initially claimed it would be long term rental. Frequently has large variety of people coming in and out of the house that indicates an Airbnb.
